Celebrating Inclusion: All Abilities Week at Clubhouse 🎾
This week, tennis clubs across Australia are celebrating All Abilities Week (20–26 October 2025) — a national initiative by Tennis Australia that shines a light on inclusion and accessibility in our sport.
At Clubhouse Tennis, we’re proud to be part of this movement. The week celebrates the many ways people with disability can get involved in tennis — from wheelchair and blind and low vision tennis to intellectual disability, autism, deaf and hard-of-hearing, and para-standing programs.
We launched the week with our All Abilities Carnival at the Ulladulla Tennis Centre on Sunday 19 October, featuring a fun and inclusive Open Court “Come & Try” session for players of all ages and abilities. We were joined by coaches from City Community Tennis in Surry Hills, a club which has been leading the way in the Adaptive Tennis space. They taught our coaching team as well as the community about the different Adaptive Tennis programs and gave us tips on how we can make our club & tennis more inclusive for all to participate. Check out our highlight reel from the day here.
We believe tennis is for every body. Through adaptive coaching, modified equipment, and a welcoming community, we’re helping more people enjoy the benefits of sport, connection and confidence.
